Korg padKontrol not recognized nor selectable

I am running protools 9 with m-audio Fast Track Ultra on win7.

I added the padKontrol drivers etc. so Windows sees it via usb connection.

I attached two midi cables to and from padKontrol and Fast Track Ultra.

There is no Korg padKonrtol selection in the pro tools midi setup and when i have tried to use some other selection to identify it, I get nothing when setting it up to trigger software synths.

I have read similar complaints on pro tools site but no answers that work so I am hoping that folks here might have a different vantage point.

PLEASE help.
