Hello.
I just bought a used Ozone which had an issue with pitch bend, it didn't stay in neutral position (in terms of MIDI-data, mechanically the wheel is ok) and sent random values, but only on the positive/bend-up side.
I've seen on the posts that some people have had same kind of issues with different keyboard models, so I though I'd share my solution.
I opened up the unit and found that there was a bad soldering joint on one of the wires attached to pitch bend wheel's potentiometer's lugs (so called cold soldering joint). So I resoldered it and everything is fine.

(Although I was not happy when I found that the PB's resolution on this keyboard is not too good.. only 4bits??:confused:)

I use fl studio and my keyboard does not show up in my midi input settings anymore. I have no ideo what happened. I installed it the first day I got it, it worked fine even though it took me about an hour or two to figure out how to instal it, work it, and set it up. So one day im using fl studio with my axiom and everythings going fine until all of a sudden I push a key and nothing happens, even though like 30 seconds before that it was working fine. Now my computer wont even recognize it in device manger. I tried hooking it up to my friends computer, his computer doesnt even recognize it and ive never plugged it in that computer before. Im ready to blow it up. :beatdeadhorse5: Should I just get a new midi keyboard, and if so any recomendations?

I owned one of these a few years ago for some studio stuff and I loved it. I play in a cover band and we are getting a relative do to some simple keyboard stuff live on a few songs. Would there be any way to use one of these connected to some sort of module straight to the PA or keyboard amp for live use? If so, what is a good affordable module to look for.

Hi,
A local music shop just told me the keyboard element of all three above products was basically the same - with the difference being the extra features and controls.
Is that right - or was he talking cobblers? I'm slightly suspicious, but if it's right I might be happy with a KeyStation and a separate control pad (few sliders and knobs and buttons).

I've just bought m-audio keystation 88es and I'm not satisfied with the way keys are working
some of them need more pressure to play a sound and some of them works really light
is it normal?
maybe I need to play for some time to solve a problem?

Greetings!
I just got an Axiom 49 and did a factory reset, installed the drivers and loaded the FL Studio preset on it. All the keys seem to work, and I mapped the D17 slider to be the Master output on my mixer. The slider gets mapped alright, but the problem is, it seems as if the slider on my keyboard has a little overhead. When i move it from 0 to 127, the slider on the mixer in FL resets to 0 and goes up a little, as if it did a full circle and got activated again.
What should I do?

Hello. I've just purchased Keystation 88es.
It came with ableton live lite 6.
I installed live lite 6 and launched it and it asks me Serial Number.
I tried to find serial number but I couldn't find anything. (green postcard with serial)
So I contacted M-AUDIO Tech Support to obtain serial.
I told them my support code and serial number.
But they are not replying for 2 days.
How can I obtain Live Lite's serial number?

I run the m-box pro 2, pro-tools 8, MacBook Pro , my question is would it be an advantage to use
the enigma download, or do I have what it takes already in my system, and what are the procedures
to put the axiom back to a default setting, I'm afraid i got into the AMW and hooked a bunch of stuff together that probably didn't have to. Eddie Fender Perez

I've just bought an Axiom Pro 61 a few days ago at Amazon, actually it arrived a few days ago since I live in Suriname, South-Am. I had it installed and tested it with Cubase 5, this morning I turned it on and suddenly all the leds and display starts flashing on and off, I was surprised and disappointed since the controller did not come with any warranty, how can I fix this problem and is there anyone out there who also have experiences with this product? is my first M-audio device and didn't had a good first impression on me.

Hello,
I tried to install my old Keystation 49e on Win7. First I tried the driver from M-Audio website, but didn't work.
Then I read about the native Win7 driver, so I uninstalled the official driver and let Windows recognize the device.
Install succesfull! Wonderful! :D
But neither FL Studio 10, neither Tobybear Minihost (a simple VST host utility) can play when I press any of my MIDI controller buttons.
Both software now detect the device, but they don't receive MIDI input from it.
How can I solve this?

Sorry if this topic has already been discussed, I've only just arrived. When power is applied to the Venom it defaults to coming up in the "Multi" mode. Does anyone know, is there a way to get the unit to power up in the "Single" mode?

Hi everyone.
I have an Axiom 25 that i bought about 2 years back when I was in India. It has only seen sporadic use - but excellent care. Now I'm in the UK, and about a month back when i plugged it into my Macbook Pro (I had always used it on UBS) it powered up for a mere second and then the screen went blank.
Just like that dead. No detection by the computer - no blue screen - pure grey death.
I have tried contacting M-Audio in the UK, but they seem to be undergoing change of management / takeover (something similar), and the new outfit cannot commit to servicing "old" models.
In any case I had a sneak feeling that i could be told to send it back to where it was bought from.
There is a lot of talk about the blue screen of death - but this power-up failure has me irritated. Should I switch on and off a gazillion times? Have already tied half a dozen USB cables. I do not want to go buy a multimeter and do component analysis. I do not have any 12V centre positive adapter either.
What can be done? Thanks.

the volume knob does nothing and also i can't use the susttainn button

Hello. I know this is old news but I've not ever seen a solution posted.
I have a Keyrig 49. One day the pitch bend wheel decided to start controlling both volume and pitch bend and the volume slider did nothing. I have tried everything on several computers (macbook pro, macbook, imac with OS snow Leopard and Lion) and multiple softwares (logic pro 9, sibelius 7, ableton live 8, garageband). Even tried reassigning the midi controls. Nothing works and this problem has dogged my working process for months.
I noticed that this is a known issue but have never seen any kind of response or solution except "I think its broken". Which is not acceptable because it's happened to so many people. I think some Keyrig49's are faulty and I would appreciate if someone could reply with a more definite response. For example, have any of your service people ever had to manually repair this problem? What can I do?
Your response would be most appreciated.

The Keyboard keys will play the notes , but the slider and knobs do not respond. The enigma seems to not have a preset for native instruments Maschine Mikro.

I have a problem with my Axiom 25, please help me...When I assign drum pads to the redrum, I can hear a sound when I press them, but when I want to records the drums nothing is recorded, I just get a blank track...Before I assign drum pads they are recorded normal, and after assigning I just get a blank track...Keyboard was working normally, but then I clicked something on it and ever since I have this problem...Please help me!!! (sorry if my english is bad).

Hi, just bought a second hand oxigen 61 midi keyboard and i realize that sometimes it just powers off and then power on a few seconds after? Is this "fixable" because its anoying and im gettingthe feeling i was riped of :/

Hi,
I was hoping someone could help with the following problem?
When I load a song in Logic 9, and start playing the song I want Logic to send a program change message/patch change message to the Axiom Pro 61
For example the Axiom Pro 61 is on program 20 and I load a new song, when the song starts playing I want to send a message from logic to the Axiom Pro to change the program from Program 20 to say program 30 without me have to touch anything on the Axiom Pro.
I can get Logic to send messages to my other keyboards but I do not seem to be able to do this with the Axiom
Could you please advise if I have to change settings in logic or on the Axiom? The Axiom is connected to my Imac via a usb lead there are no midi leads attached.
I am stumped, please help
