I'm trying to use it as a momentary switch to speed up the rotary sim in VB3.
VB3 expects CC1 to control rotary speed.
I first assigned CC1 to the sustain pedal with a min value of "0" and a max value of "127"
Using Midi-Ox to monitor the midi stream, the first depression of the pedal sends "127", but the subsequent release of the pedal does not send anything. The second depression of the pedal sends "0", but the subsequent release of the pedal does not send anything.
Searching through the forum archives, I found a suggestion to set the sustain pedal to CC146 so it should toggle CC1 (data 1) to "127" when pedal is depressed (data 2) and to "0" (data 3) when released.
I tried this as well, but Midi-Ox still shows the same behavior.
Should I look for another pedal or am I doing something wrong?
